We went to Johnson County which is 5 hours away. We had to drive through the mountains and there were several inches of snow that had fallen the previous day. We went first to the Middle School and gave 7 seminars in a row to 267 students. We distributed 567 booklets to the students. The principal attended one of the seminars and was so pleased and impressed with it, he thanked us several times and shook my hand 6 times. He also wrote a nice recommendation letter.
The following day we went to the High School and gave 3 seminars to 112 students. We gave out 711 booklets. After one seminar, a student came to us and told us his grandmother and his mother who is now in jail were hooked on Meth. His brother was born when the mother was only 13 and he himself was born when she was 14 and still on drugs. His brother’s body was damaged to the point that when people look at him now they believe he is on meth. A few students asked us for additional booklets so they could give them to their parents who are on drugs.
